At around 6:30 p.m., police headed to Bramble Park after a shooting was reported. The incident took place during “Madisonville Day.” This annual event offered bounce houses, a DJ, a basketball competition, and more.
Eyewitness Suzann Pankala, a local resident, described the chaos. “After the shots, people and kids, many crying, ran from the park,” Pankala said. She added, “A little girl asked her mom, ‘Why do we have to go? We just arrived.’ It was chaotic.”

Five individuals, ranging in age from teenagers to around 40 years old, were shot during the event. According to police, all victims are suspected to have non-life-threatening injuries, though this status may change as more information becomes available.
