Rolla Police Chief Sean Fagan reported a suspect entered Sinks Pharmacy armed with an AR-15 rifle. The suspect shot an employee in the leg before fleeing eastbound on State Route BB.
High-Speed Pursuit Across Phelps County
Pursuit Details: After the shooting, many police vehicles pursued the suspect. He was heading towards St. James. Near St. James, the suspect turned around, colliding with a sheriff’s vehicle and a police car. Despite this, he continued westbound towards Rolla.
Action Taken: Rolla Police Chief Sean Fagan authorized a pit maneuver to stop the suspect’s vehicle, resulting in his apprehension. Fortunately, neither the officers involved nor the suspect sustained injuries during the maneuver.
