We are deeply saddened to announce Janet Montgomery (née Hutchinson)’s passing. She was our dear sister and the respected director of Hutchinson Care Homes. Janet passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15th, after a long illness. Her kindness, dedication, and service have touched many.

As a true leader and a guiding light to her colleagues, Janet’s legacy will continue through the countless lives she touched.

A Family Legacy

John and Adeleine Hutchinson founded Hutchinson Care Homes. Their goal was quality care and community service. Janet was key to this vision. They opened Clonlee Private Nursing Home in 1990 and Massereene Manor in 1997. In 2005, they added Drummaul and Glenkeen Private Nursing Homes. Massereene Manor expanded in 2011 to 74 beds. In 2013, Hutchinson Care Homes introduced Hutchinson at Home. They also acquired Ballyclare and Clareview Private Nursing Homes. Finally, they acquired Antrim Care Home in 2016.
